Pittsford VT delivers a warm welcome to new residents

Pittsford welcomes new resident Chad with a Pittsford Welcomes You tote bag full of information, gifts, and gift certifications.

PITTSFORD, VT (March 22, 2021) – While Pittsford VT is known for its rolling hills, green pastures, and covered bridges, new residents will also discover that the “Sunshine Village” is a friendly, welcoming place to live. To drive that home, local businesses and community volunteers have joined together to create a “Pittsford Welcomes You” tote bag chock full of helpful information, gifts, and gift certificates. Sponsors of the program are Town of Pittsford, Pittsford Historical Society, Maclure Library, and Pittsford Village Farm.

The totes are delivered by Pittsford Village Farm volunteers soon after new residents move to town.

Pertinent information in the tote includes a Town Report and newsletter, Recreation Department information, trail maps, important ordinances, and updates from the Historical Society, Maclure Library, and Pittsford Village Farm.

Gifts and gift certificates are donated by local businesses including:
